Read this on Twitter today -
“Elon Musk didn’t actually found Tesla, he was an early investor and post- Series A employee who retroactively strong- armed his way into a “founder” title through politics, money and multiple legal battles”
Reading up on this, there’s quite a shitstorm on Quora (and prob other sites) over his true status as founder. This subject has certainly drawn the Muskphiles out of the woodwork.

It was Martin’s deal from the beginning. Musk muscled him out...
There’s a common Silicon Valley pissing contest a lot over the rights to self-identify as Founder. Which seems pointless— when a deal goes sideways “the money” always wins, so if your choice is to be a “Founder” with 2% of the stock or a “Vulture Capitalist” with 85% I think I know which one I want to be.
It’s mainly about ego.
Elon is a dickhead. That is all.

Elon Musk is the founder of Tesla in the same way Ray Kroc was the founder of McDonald's.

Good analogy.
